MATTHEW ALDERMAN is a frequent contributor to a number of academic and popular Catholic websites devoted to art, culture, and liturgy.  You may enjoy reading his work at the sites listed below.

THE NEW LITURGICAL MOVEMENT remains one of the most popular new-sites online for Catholic liturgical, cultural and artistic news.  Matthew is one of the founding members who started the website under the editorship of Shawn Tribe in 2005.  While serving as the site's Architectural Correspondent, he writes and posts on a variety of subjects.

THE SHRINE OF THE HOLY  WHAPPING started out as something of an inside joke among Matthew and four friends in college.  (Hence the inexplicable name: it has been described as an "Ultramontane Monty Python Troupe").  Now, 8 years later it continues to cover art and architecture, spiritual musings, and, yes, a good deal of silliness.

DAPPLED THINGS: IDEAS, ART AND FAITH is a print and online journal showcasing the art and writing of aspiring Catholic writers.   Matthew, an assistant editor, is also a contributor of illustrations, essays and the occasional poem.

THE CATHOLIC ILLUSTRATORS GUILD includes frequent sketch and drawing updates from members such as Matthew.
