WHILE grounding his art in the  tradition of Christian symbolism and iconography that began in the catacombs and later flourished in the Middle Ages and Renaissance, Matthew is also inspired by the graphic arts of the Arts and Crafts movement and the Jugendstil period. His work is in collections all over the world.
